Public MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT — verse lookup, search, chapter navigation, and an interactive reader powered by the Bible API.
A public Model Context Protocol server that lets Claude and ChatGPT look up Scripture on demand — grounded in real text from the Bible API, not training-data paraphrase.

Translations

The server exposes seven tools, including list_translations, so the available set comes from the API rather than a hardcoded toggle. read_bible requests opt-in speaker segments and colors segments marked speaker: "jesus"; get_verse and search results stay plain text.

Architecture
Claude / ChatGPT → MCP Worker → Bible API → D1Same Cloudflare account uses a service binding for internal calls; public API URL works for self-hosters on a different account.
